AANANTO TERMS OF USE, MEMBERSHIP AND LICENSING

Effective from: 14 July 2026

1. About AANANTO and these Terms
These Terms govern use of the AANANTO website, free game modes, Artisan Taster and paid Artisan membership. By creating an account, using the website or purchasing an Artisan Pass, you agree to these Terms.
AANANTO is operated by Steven Dobrowski, trading as AANANTO and PhotoGraphixDesigns at PhotoGraphixDesign Studios, Broomside, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, DL148PX United Kingdom.
Original artworks may bear the signature “Stefan Antoni”, an artistic name used by Steven Dobrowski. The use of that name does not indicate a separate copyright owner.
All rights reserved. No part of this site may be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, copied, modified or used commercially without prior written permission.

2. Accounts and Eligibility
  1. one account per registered user;
  2. login details must be kept secure;
  3. paid access is linked to the AANANTO account signed in when checkout begins;
  4. purchases cannot normally be transferred between accounts;
  5. buyers must be authorised to use the chosen payment method;
  6. PayPal account holders must satisfy PayPal’s own eligibility requirements.

3. Free Threshold access and Artisan Taster
Threshold membership is currently provided free of charge to registered AANANTO users and provides access to:
  • Shuffle Board;
  • Tray Board;
  • Full Jigsaw Board;
  • Threshold Collection;
  • Artisan Taster comprising a limited selection of images chosen by AANANTO for play in the full Artisan Jigsaw mode.

4. Artisan Collection Galleries
In addition to the Threshold Collection—our Starter Pack—AANANTO currently provides eight premium Artisan galleries available through paid membership.
AANANTO may add, replace, rename, reorganise or retire individual images and galleries as the service develops. Paid membership provides access to the Artisan service and the standard collections made available within it; it does not guarantee that every individual image will remain available indefinitely.

5. Artisan Annual Pass
The Artisan Annual Pass costs £12.00 GBP when purchased and renews automatically at £12.00 GBP every year until cancelled. It provides access to all current Artisan galleries and future standard Artisan gallery additions while the pass remains valid and the AANANTO service remains available.
Future renewal may be cancelled through PayPal. Cancellation stops subsequent renewal payments but does not normally end access already paid for. Access ordinarily continues until the paid-through date unless the payment is refunded, reversed, disputed or otherwise invalidated.
Any future price change will be communicated to members before it applies to a renewal.

6. Artisan Lifetime Pass
The Artisan Lifetime Pass costs one payment of £39.00 GBP and has no recurring renewal.
“Lifetime” means access for the operating life of the AANANTO Artisan service, not the lifetime of the purchaser. Access includes all current Artisan galleries and future standard Artisan gallery additions while the service remains available.
Lifetime access may end following a full refund, payment reversal, upheld dispute, serious breach of these Terms, fraudulent use or permanent discontinuation of the service.
Nothing in this clause removes any statutory consumer right.

7. Payment and automatic activation
Payments are processed by PayPal. Eligible buyers may be offered payment through a PayPal account, debit card or credit card.
The PayPal email address does not need to match the AANANTO registration email. Access is linked through the protected checkout to the AANANTO account that was signed in when payment began.
Artisan access is activated automatically after AANANTO receives and verifies PayPal confirmation. Where confirmation is delayed, the customer should not make another payment and should instead use the activation-status option or contact AANANTO.

8. Cancellation, cooling-off rights and refunds for Artisan Membership
We want you to enjoy your experience whilst playing our digital puzzles, so not only have we provided free access to our game modes and the Threshold Collection, we have additionally created a small set of Threshold images for you to play in our full Artisan Jigsaw game mode (Artisan Taster; see Terms - 3). We also understand that a member who has upgraded from Threshold to Artisan membership might have reason to request cancellation or a refund; hence these terms:
8.1  Cancelling future Annual renewals
You may cancel future renewal of an Artisan Annual Pass at any time through your PayPal account or by contacting AANANTO at support@aananto.com.
Cancellation prevents the next annual renewal payment from being taken. It does not normally refund the current paid membership period or end access already paid for. Access ordinarily continues until the applicable paid-through date unless the payment is subsequently refunded, reversed, disputed or otherwise invalidated.
The Artisan Lifetime Pass has no recurring renewal and therefore has no future subscription payment to cancel.
8.2 Fourteen-day cancellation period for an initial purchase
A consumer who purchases an Artisan Annual Pass or Artisan Lifetime Pass online may notify AANANTO that they wish to cancel the initial purchase within 14 days, beginning on the day after the contract was made. No reason is required.
A cancellation request is valid if the customer sends a clear statement communicating the decision to cancel before the cancellation period expires.
When AANANTO receives a valid cancellation request made within the cancellation period:
  • AANANTO will issue a full refund of the initial payment without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the cancellation notice;
  • the refund will normally be made to the original payment method;
  • the associated Artisan entitlement will be withdrawn; and
  • the AANANTO account will return to the access level otherwise applicable to it.

8.3 Cancelling a renewal versus refunding a payment
Cancelling future renewal of an Annual Pass is different from requesting a refund of a payment that has already been completed.
Cancelling renewal:
        • stops the next scheduled annual payment; and
        • ordinarily preserves access until the end of the period already paid for.
Refunding a completed payment:
        • returns the applicable payment to the buyer;
        • invalidates the paid entitlement associated with that payment; and
        • removes the corresponding full Artisan access.
A request concerning an Annual renewal payment that has already been collected will be considered separately under applicable consumer law and any refund policy communicated at the time of renewal.
8.4 How to request cancellation or a refund
Send cancellation and refund requests to: support@aananto.com
Please provide, where available:
        • your full name;
        • the email address registered to your AANANTO account;
        • whether the purchase was Annual or Lifetime;
        • the date of payment;
        • the PayPal transaction reference; and
        • the PayPal email address, where this would assist identification of the transaction.
Providing a reason is optional for a cancellation made within the statutory cancellation period. Outside that period, an explanation may help AANANTO understand and investigate the request. A request will not be rejected merely because the customer has not used the model form below, provided the communication clearly identifies the contract and communicates the decision to cancel.
8.5 Faulty, unavailable or misdescribed digital access
The 14-day cancellation provisions do not replace the customer’s statutory rights.
Where paid digital content or services are not of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose or as described, the customer may have rights to an appropriate remedy under UK consumer law. Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include correction or restoration of access, repeat performance, a price reduction or a refund.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including rights under UK consumer law.
8.6 Model cancellation notice
Customers may use the following wording, but are not required to do so:

  • obtain or attempt to obtain access to a collection or service not made available to their account;
  • access protected images, manifests, thumbnails or other files by bypassing the normal website interface; or
  • use another person’s account or payment entitlement without authority.
  •   10.4 Automated and disruptive activity
    Users must not:
  • use bots, crawlers, scrapers, downloaders or other automated means to collect website content or visual assets;
  • make excessive automated requests or place an unreasonable load on the website or hosting infrastructure;
  • probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the website without prior written permission;
  • introduce malware, malicious code or harmful data;
  • interfere with gameplay, payment processing, membership records or another user’s access; or
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or modify website software, except to the limited extent expressly permitted by applicable law and incapable of lawful exclusion.
  • 10.5 Commercial use
    No artwork, image, collection, software element, design component or derivative work may be used for advertising, resale, merchandise, publication, training data, commercial display or any other commercial purpose without a formal written licence from AANANTO.

    11. Licensing Requests
    For collaborations, licensing or usage enquiries, please contact: licensing@aananto.com
    Please include the intended use, duration, format and distribution plans.

    12. Third-Party Assets
    Where applicable, fonts, textures, stock elements or source materials used in compositions are:
      • licensed for commercial use;
      • created in-house by AANANTO or PhotoGraphixDesigns; or
      • used under another applicable lawful permission.
    Third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders and are used under the applicable licences. No rights in those materials are granted to website users.

    13. Digital Integrity and Protection
    AANANTO may use reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect its website, visual assets, protected galleries, membership areas, payment processes and services.
    These measures may include access controls, transaction and security records, rate limiting, direct-file protections and other proportionate safeguards.
    Suspected unauthorised access, copying, account misuse, interference or infringement may be investigated. Where appropriate, AANANTO may issue a warning, restrict or suspend access, preserve relevant records, block abusive activity, report suspected unlawful conduct or take proportionate legal action.
    Any investigation or protective action will be carried out subject to applicable law and the customer’s statutory rights.
    14. Service Availability, Maintenance and Technical Requirements
    AANANTO is a browser-based digital service. Users are responsible for providing a compatible device, a reasonably current web browser, an internet connection and any browser features reasonably required to operate the service.
    The website may not operate identically on every browser, operating system, screen size or older device. Information about material known compatibility requirements will be provided where reasonably practicable.
    AANANTO may carry out planned or emergency maintenance, security work, software updates and service improvements. Temporary interruptions may also arise from hosting providers, internet services, PayPal, browser changes or circumstances outside AANANTO’s reasonable control.
    AANANTO does not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted or entirely free from minor faults. However, AANANTO will use reasonable care in operating the service and will seek to restore material service failures within a reasonable period.
    Nothing in this section excludes statutory rights relating to digital content or services.
    15. Suspension, Termination and Payment Events
    AANANTO may restrict or suspend an account where it reasonably believes this is necessary to:
      • protect the security or integrity of the service;
      • investigate suspected fraud or unauthorised payment use;
      • prevent account sharing or serious misuse;
      • respond to a payment dispute, reversal or chargeback;
      • comply with a legal obligation; or
      • address a serious or repeated breach of these Terms.
    Where reasonably possible, AANANTO will explain the reason for the restriction and give the user an opportunity to resolve the matter.
    A completed refund or payment reversal removes the entitlement created by the affected payment. An unresolved payment dispute may result in temporary suspension of the associated Artisan entitlement while the dispute is investigated. The final entitlement status may depend on the verified outcome supplied by PayPal.
    Suspension or termination will not remove any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
    16. Privacy and Cookies
    AANANTO processes personal information needed to register accounts, operate membership access, administer payments, provide customer support, maintain security and comply with legal obligations.
    Further information about the personal data collected, the purposes for which it is used, retention, disclosures, lawful bases and individual rights is provided in the AANANTO Privacy Notice.
    Information about cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies is provided in the AANANTO Cookie Notice.
    PayPal processes payment and account information under PayPal’s own privacy terms. AANANTO does not receive or store the customer’s full card details.

    17. Complaints and Customer Support
    Questions, activation problems, refund requests and complaints should be sent to: support@aananto.com
    Please include sufficient information to identify the AANANTO account and relevant transaction, but do not send full card details, passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.
    AANANTO aims to acknowledge complaints as soon as reasonably practicable and to provide a substantive response within 14 working days. Where a matter requires additional investigation, AANANTO will explain the position and provide an updated timescale.
    Nothing in this complaints process prevents a consumer from using any external remedy, statutory right or court process available to them.

    18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    These Terms and any contract between AANANTO and a customer are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
    The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. A consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom or another country retains any mandatory consumer protection and right to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction that applicable law provides.

    19. Changes to These Terms
    AANANTO may update these Terms where reasonably necessary to reflect:
    • changes in the law or regulatory requirements;
    • security or fraud-prevention needs;
    • changes to payment or membership systems;
    • improvements or changes to the website and services; or
    • corrections and clarifications.
    The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
    Where a proposed change materially affects an existing paid membership, AANANTO will provide reasonable advance notice by email, account notice or another durable method where practicable.
    A change to the Annual Pass price will be communicated before it applies to a future renewal.
    Changes will not retrospectively remove statutory rights or invalidate access already paid for, except where access is lawfully suspended or removed under these Terms or where continued supply has become unlawful or impossible.
