HOW TO PLAY & TIPS
HOW TO START
  • Choose Shuffle Board from the game modes.
  • Select your number of pieces before you begin.
  • Lower piece counts (from 9 pieces) are quicker and easier.
  • Higher piece counts (up to 100 pieces) require closer observation.
  • Use Play Full Screen for a larger, more immersive experience.

HOW TO PLAY
  • Click or tap a piece and move it to where you think it belongs.
  • Shuffle Board is about recognising:
  • matching colours
  • image detail
  • lines and shapes
  • borders and corners
  • visual continuity between neighbouring pieces
  • As pieces move into their correct positions, the image gradually returns.

STATS
  • Use the Stats toggle to show or hide your progress information.
  • Stats can help you track time, moves, and completion progress.
  • Hide them when you want a cleaner play area.

SAVE & PAUSE
  • After you make your first move, Save & Pause becomes available.
  • Use Save & Pause when you want to stop and keep your current Shuffle Board position.
  • Your saved game can be restored when you return to Shuffle Board.
  • Use Resume Play to continue from where you left off.

CHOOSE ANOTHER PICTURE
  • Use Choose Picture to open the gallery and select a different puzzle.
  • Starting a new picture begins a fresh Shuffle Board game and replaces the current Shuffle Board save.

DIFFICULTY / PIECES
  • Use the PIECES control before starting to choose the size of the challenge.
  • Smaller puzzles (from 9 pieces) are ideal for quick play.
  • Larger puzzles (up to 100 pieces) reward patient looking and careful comparison.

FULL SCREEN
  • Use Play Full Screen for a larger, more comfortable play area.
  • This is especially helpful on tablets, laptops, and desktop screens.

TIPS FOR ENJOYABLE PLAY
  • Start with obvious areas: strong colours, text, signatures, sky, water, shadows, or distinctive shapes.
  • Look for visual continuation between pieces: a line, a roof edge, a tree branch, a doorway, a colour gradient.
  • Shuffle Board is ideal when you want a satisfying puzzle that is quick to enter, easy to understand, and pleasing to complete.
  • Enjoy your puzzle.
